What Happens Once My Property is Sold?
Once an offer is accepted, we coordinate with all parties involved, including conveyancers and bond originators, to ensure a smooth process. We guide sellers through obtaining necessary compliance certificates and clearances, keep you informed about the buyer's bond application status, and promptly communicate any updates.

  • Bond Cancellation Fee: R4,000-R5,000 (applies even for zero balance)
  • Early Termination Fees: Charged by banks if three months' notice isn't provided
  • Rates and Taxes: Any arrears and current amounts
  • Levies to Body Corporate/HOA: Certificate issue fees, pro-rata payments, and levy stabilisation fees (if applicable)
  • Compliance Certificates: Electrical, Gas, Beetle (coastal), Plumbing (Cape Town), Electrical Fence
  • Other Costs: Title deed copy fees, FICA verification, financial undertakings, bridging finance, and repairs agreed upon in the Deed of Sale

  • Transfer Duty (SARS): Calculated on the purchase price (eexcept when this is a VAT transaction, check with your agent)
